Our pansy festival is a yearly event to celebrate the fall season. We grow millions of pansies, violas, snapdragons, and other fall flowers to provide cheerful color from fall through spring.
During our Pansy Festival, we decorate with and sell Belgian Mums, hay bales, pumpkins, gourds, and more.
On the weekends, we barbecue. It's nothing special, just chicken and a paper plate, but we smoke about 150 lb of chicken over hickory wood from early morning until about noon, then uncover it and people help themselves.
We try to have entertainment on our stage for a couple of hours, weather permitting, usually from about noon to 2:30 or 3pm.
We celebrate Pansy Festival during the entire month of October, but the smoked chicken and the entertainment is on Saturdays and Sundays in October. We hope you'll join us.
